We have 4 temp/contract opportunities in Newcastle, in a well established Financial Services Company.

As a consequence of the recent Treasury announcement, our client is to enhance itself in the UK mortgage market.

-A number of major strategic initiatives will require to be delivered in the short/medium term. These initiatives will make significant demands on the resource of the Finance community and as such there is an immediate need for resource within the Management Accounting & Modelling Team.

Required are:

-2 x Financial Analyst

-2 x Financial Modeller

The successful candidates will be ACA qualified or equivalent and will have significant and relevant experience within the specified areas. The candidate must have experience within Financial Services and must be able to commute/live within proximity of Newcastle.

The main focus for the role is the development of the Corporate MI framework (focusing on board level reporting) and involvement in projects around MI and the general ledger

-Production of regular MI reports

-Management and oversight of 2 direct reports including training needs and appraisal reviews.

Your Profile

This international media consultancy firm is looking for an experience international media planner buyer. Successful candidates will have previous experience managing media campaigns for clients across multiple European markets. A large portion of the accounts will be based in Germany so a fluent German speaker is essential. You will also need strong numerical and analytical skills. You`ll need to demonstrate a good knowledge of the international media market place, have good information gathering experience and have excellent attention to detail.

You will be responsible for the analysis and verification of data, liaising with international media agencies, doing project work and consultation with your clients. You`ll be responsible for managing the junior consultants and may involve some training.
