Jones Apparel Group is currently looking for a Director for our Web Production group. This position directs, establishes, maintains, and plans the overall policies and goals for the web product development department. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Coordinate and negotiate with the marketing group
* Drive product web release strategy
* Interact with development and product marketing to define requirements and direct interaction with engineering and operations on product development
* Define the marketing requirements for the company web site and manage the product development process by translating user testing and customer support feedback into feature/function requirements
* Coordinate day-to-day operations
* Plan, schedule, track, execute, and release new features
* Responsible for overall quality of product
* Oversee approximately 4 JSP developers
* Staff management and mentoring
Qualifications
The qualifications required for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Deep understanding of the Internet
* Highly organized and detail oriented
* Strong understanding of JSP, HTML, JavaScript, HTTP, and DNS
* Bachelor`s Degree
* 8 or more years of experience in Internet product management
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
