HUGE is looking for a Freelance Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Quality Assurance team on a part time basis. The Freelance Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for analysis, definition, and execution of test efforts of multiple product releases. They will also assist in defining the company-wide Quality Assurance process.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, document, and execute test cases and requirements traceability matrices from design documentation and functional specifications.
• Determine and perform test setup and execution, including identifying and loading test data.
• Create, manage, and update test performance metrics.
• Author and maintain test plans, and test conditions library.
• Create, manage, and update virtual machine (VM) test environments.
• Perform client/server, white-box, black-box, positive/negative, and relational database testing.
• Identify and test boundary behaviors and constraints.
• Track and report on defects of software.
• Proactively work with Developers in problem analysis, reproduction, and resolution.
• Apply quality procedures and test standards to testing activities.
• Responsible for ongoing performance testing, regression testing, and analysis of enhancements to company’s software development activities.
• Perform manual and automated tests on multiple Operating Systems and platforms.
• Provide regular progress reports to the Quality Assurance Lead.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• 2+ years Quality Assurance and/or combined programming and Quality Assurance experience.
• Excellent understanding of different phases of STLC, SDLC, and Testing Methodologies.
• Strong business acumen and ability to develop detailed test plans and scripts from business and functional requirements. Execute these tests on multiple operating systems/platforms within scheduled releases and analyze the test results.
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance concepts to include unit (white/black/gray), system integration, performance, load, user acceptance, and regression testing.
• Automation test tools experience, especially Selenium, Windmill are pluses, as well as experience with Automation Life Cycle.
• Relational Database Management Systems experience.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation
