Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization
dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of
patient care, research, and education.
Bachelor`s Degree in Biological Sciences, CT(ASCP) certified or eligible
required. Graduation from accredited school of cytotechnology, New York State
Department of Health Cytotechnologist Registration Required. 0-2 years
experience as a cytotechnologist. Excellent computer, verbal and written
communication skills.
Days: Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8-4pm; Wed 10-6pm; Sat. on occasion.
Microscopically examines preparations for cytologic evaluation, correlating
clinical information with morphologic findings to make a final diagnosis on
negative gynecologic slides and render a microscopic assessment on abnormal
gynecologic and all non-gynecologic specimens pending final diagnosis by a
pathologist.
