I am looking for an eager, hard-working marketing junior or senior to help me launch my start-up. The ideal candidate is the type of person who is constantly coming up with great ideas and not afraid to think out of the box (the ADD are welcome). I have been slowly putting together a company that will offer temporary staff, handle recruiting, and take care of bookkeeping/payroll. It is meant to support small businesses and individuals who simply don`t have the time to manage the little details. I will give you a very detailed outline of what I am offering, from this I need you to:
*help me select a logo/color scheme (I have a web designer and am in the process of submitting my logo for revisions)
*come up with a marketing campaign
*turn my notes into website content
*turn my notes into brochures
*draft a letter to send to leads
*look into promotional items
*....and anything else you or I may come up with
Put what you have learned in class into effect! I`m open to ideas. You could get credit for this (but you would have to take this up with your university). I am offering a stipend of $100 per week.
To apply you must:
*be a junior or senior in a 4 year, NYC based college
*be an excellent writer
*understand how online marketing works...how do I become search friendly?
*be able to work from home, but meet in person once a week
*be able to commit at least 15 hours a week (more would be preferable)
*be involved with fb, twitter, etc.
*SUBMIT A RESUME AND A MARKETING WRITING SAMPLE (web content, brochures, presentations, etc. preferred)
If you do not submit a writing sample, please do not apply. Once this gets going you could be moved to being a part-time employee or be put on a retainer.
Compensation: $100/week
Telecommuting is ok.
