Your Profile

You come from a media sales background in either outdoor media, or consumer press.
You have strong experience selling to West End agencies or out of home specialists, ideally both.

A fantastic new position has opened for a Handyman in the Birmingham area to work at a prestigious student accommodation site carrying out all planned and reactive maintenance. The successful candidate will provide general maintenance support to the management team, including basic plumbing, repairing and painting/decorating of the property, including student bedrooms, all communal areas, shower cubicles, floors, walls and carpets. Other duties include emergency light testing and the possibility of PAT testing.

You will manage technicians based on five sites including, target setting, performance monitoring, technical support, conducting appraisal, identification of training and development needs.

Actively control the variable (material and sub-contract) cost element of departmental budget. Reporting exceptional spends in a timely fashion.

Manage sub-contract labour engaged in maintenance, installation and fault finding works.

Raise and manage BRFs for specific refrigeration based capital or revenue projects.
