The Job:
I have been asked by my client to source a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based out their offices in Hertfordshire, and cover the surrounding area which includes Buckinghamshire. As the successful candidate you can either be based on one site working on a large project valued at around £60million or manage a number of smaller projects on multiple sites

To be successful in this role you must be able to handle your own set of projects from inception to completion. My client is not interested in candidates who have just subbed work out to sub contractors and is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is very much a "hands on" type of candidate. What this means is the successful candidate must be able to handle or solve any minor claims, have good contractual knowledge, able to carry out financial forecasting and cost reporting as well as being able to integrate well within a team environment

Requirements:
- 15+ years UK Quantity Surveying experience
- Civils-Highways-Roads project experience
- Main Contractor background
- Official qualifications are not essential
