A home fashions manufacturing company selling to mass retail is looking for a results-driven, highly organized person to assist in the product development of our various lines of soft and hard home products. They must be an excellent project manager with great attention to detail, and good problem-solving skills.
You are perfect for the position if you are: creative, hardworking, a multi-tasking genius, have a good visual sense and are excited to learn about new products and to carry them from concept and design through to production.
Responsibilities include:
• Create and maintain spreadsheets to track the development of each project, samples received and sent, and customers’ comments
• Coordinate/communicate with Design, Sourcing & Production departments to ensure products are developed efficiently and according to customer requirements
• Work closely with the product itself
• Maintain standards for each product and evaluate quality
• Learn about respective testing for all products and work with outside laboratories to make sure the products meet all customer and government requirements
• Work with Quality Assurance departments of our customers in submission of product
• Manage customer specification sheets
• Must be fluent in Excel
