TEK 7, an industry leading design/build firm headquartered in Manhattan, specializes in consulting, engineering, project management, integration, and continuous IT based monitoring and support of high-end audiovisual, teleconferencing, and custom facilities.
We have an opening for an experienced AMX programmer. This position requires a dedicated individual with a very high level of programming expertise specific to the AMX platform. Our relationship with AMX and our unique programming technologies combined with our high-end client base demands the service of an experienced and very talented individual. ACE certification and demonstration of high level programming skills specific to AMX systems are key to any applicant’s consideration at our firm.
The successful programmer will be given a unique opportunity to engage in high level programming using proprietary software and hardware systems. These technologies will allow our programmer to work from any virtual “office” and program systems worldwide in real time. Upon completion of any system, the programmer will bring the client’s system on-line with our dedicated Network Operations Center.
Candidates for the position must have significant experience in our industry, require minimal training, be willing to work reasonable (though sometimes project intensive) hours, and have excellent references. As our industry converges with Information Technology, it is imperative that new hires have a functional understanding of IT, with preference given to candidates that master both industries.
Qualifications for the position are based on a 3 to 5 year minimum tenure, relevant degrees and education, current certifications applicable to each position, and an innate ability for leadership, teamwork, industry-leading client services, desire for growth and being at the forefront of change.
Our programmer will have the option to work from home and/or the office, flexible hours based on need, and receive benefits that include major medical subsidization, 21 days per year of compensated vacation/holiday/personal time, and metro transportation benefits.
