We are looking for a talented Web Designer Intern to join our dynamic, fun and talented team.
You will gain hands-on experience and be able to build your portfolio by designing and building our website.
Also be able to participate in a start up company which may lead to a position down the road.
WHO WE ARE:
We are a blogging and affiliate shopping website, based in NYC.
We are a fun energetic team of creative individuals dedicated to enhancing the consumer experience through our website.
SKILLS THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
1. HTML / CSS
2. Basic JavaScript (Be able to read it and work with a more experienced developer)
3. WordPress
- How to add widgets
- Assist in maintaining blog when tech questions arise
- Adding links to blog roll
- Changing advertisements
- Research new ways to make blog more robust
4. Facebook
- Reworking / adding to and developing our own look to the facebook page
5. Main Website
- Knowledge of how affiliate programs work & ability to research this area
- Research ways to make website easy to update
- Adding widgets to the main website if applicable

Willingness to learn is key as we build and develop and we will be available for questions when issues arise.
Intern does not need to be based in NYC but must have own computer, and we are willing to accomadate to different schedules, must be able to guarantee at least 10 hrs a week, with the possibility to increase.
We are also willing to work with your school to aid in you receiving college credit.
