Electrical Motor/Machines Designer - Pro/Engineer, Wildfire

Our client a leading designer of high powered motors and a global pioneer of some of the most advanced generators requires a Senior Machines Designer with strong skills in Pro Engineer (WIldfire), Pro/Intralink and experience in part modelling, large assembles, design for manufacture, ANSYS, structural FEA and Thermal FEA to work on some of the most exciting projects happening at the moment.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Motor / Machines Designer will include:
- Producing analyses and documentation in Pursuit of winning further business and to meet the needs of the customer.
- Participate in basic electrical machine sizing activities in response to customer enquiries.
- Also you will be participate in the definition and production of electrical test plans to validate key machine design characteristics, Validation and functional tests , both on and off-site, both static and dynamic tests and participate in the production of Quality documentation associated with Electrical Machines, as and when required.
- Participate in selection and design of power electronics and electrical systems to be used in combination with electrical machine products.
- Carry out various machine parameter analyses including; reactance, inductance, voltage, current, waveform, electrical losses, efficiency, fault tolerance, etc.
- Work with Mechanical Design team to show that selected designs are fit-for-purpose both electrical & mechanical

MOBILE M&E ENGINEER IN YOUR LOCAL AREA

A chance has arisen to join a rapidly growing facilities maintenance provider. Our client has won numerous maintenance contracts in recent years including major commercial banking corporations, leading insurance brokers, more recently they have won the maintenance contract for a major retailer. We are now looking to recruit a number of M&E Engineers for a business that currently has turnover of over £10million.

Your core responsibilities will be to perform fault-finding and servicing duties to HVAC plant that will include ventilation plant, general power and lighting maintenance and also some heating plant.

Typical responsibilities include;

Maintenance and repairs to all electrical equipment (i.e. lighting and power)

Maintenance to A/C plant such as air handling units, split A/C units

Maintenance to catering machinery

Testing of emergency lighting/fire alarms/sprinkler systems

PAT testing

We are looking for an engineer to cover four locally-based properties. We are currently recruiting for a HVAC engineer to cover the local properties in the Windsor area.

All applicants must hold valid electrical or mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds. In addition, all applicants must possess a valid driver`s license.

Boiler Engineer:

We are currently looking for qualified combustion CORGI/ACS engineers within the maintenance industry to carry out various roles in and around the SE London/M25/ and surrounding counties.
The ideal candidate will be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision and also part of a team.

Main Duties:

1.Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all Industrial and commercial engineering services as required. Such as Boilers and associated plant.

2.Procure materials and equipment to carry out works.

3.Complete worksheets for works undertaken and obtain authorisation for the Clients representative.

4.Advise Client of minor additional works, compile estimates and submit through coordinators/Supervisors/Contract Managers

5.Lock off/Tag off system familiar.

6.Carry out fault diagnosis, repair of and advise as required.

7.Be available to carry out necessary works outside normal hours with additional remuneration.

Qualifications / Skills Required:
a. C & G in Boiler Engineering or Equivalent (CORGI OR ACS )
b. General plant maintenance including Boilers, pumps e.t.c.
c. On site mechanical maintenance experience (3 years)
d. H & S aware
e. Experience in PPM`s & reactive works
f. Car/van Supplied
