A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required to join a small PQS practise based in the Hertfordshire area to work with a number of blue chip clients based here in the UK

The opportunity and the client:
My client has been established for more than 15 years and is growing year on year by increasing turnover, profit and now personnel. They are currently working with a number of blue chip clients who are well known household names within the retail-catering sector. My client mainly works on new build and refurbishment projects for hotels, pubs, clubs, restaurants and leisure centres.

As the successful Quantity Surveyor you will be working on low value but high volume projects these are valued £60,000 - £750,000 and you will be working on 20 - 30 projects at anyone time. My client`s department consists of 4 Surveyors and as the fifth surveyor you will be in a very autonomous position.

To be successful in this role you must be able to maintain and build relationships as my client will entrust you with the responsibility of overseeing 3 of the 5 blue chip companies my client deals with. You must be able to deal with difficult clients by winning them over and earning their respect by doing so you will then build firmer and longer lasting relationships. However my client is not looking for a hard nosed, tough approach kind of Quantity Surveyor but more a balance of this and a personable type of candidate

Remuneration:
In return for your services my client is willing to offer a basic of around £45,000 per annum plus a benefits package which includes the following:

Requirements:
Ideally 8+ years Quantity Surveying experience
