CATALOG AND WEB MERCHANDISER
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who is detail driven and enjoys working with product. The ideal candidate will have a retail operations background. Buying or specialty retail store management is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Directly involved in the product selection and maintenance of both printed catalog and on-line merchandise.
• Primarily responsible for the day to day maintenance and growth of the website and evaluation of sales.
• The daily maintenance of website involves continuous product uploads, coordinating up-sell products, and removing/adding products as needed based on inventory. Constant review of inventory is crucial to keeping customers satisfied online.
• Coordinate all web product photo shoots.
• Involved in all creative and merchandising decisions; as well as, working closely with Buyers to ensure stock levels are sufficient to fulfill web sales.
• Work closely with the Creative Web Manager and Buyers to coordinate appropriate product for all email blasts and web campaigns.
• Manage the process of continually getting new products on the web, controlling their turnover, and evaluating sales for opportunities and weaknesses.
• Knowledge of Excel is crucial to job performance!
Compensation: $35,000 to $40,000, commensurate with experience
