MOBILE M&E ENGINEERS IN YOUR LOCAL AREA

A chance has arisen to join a rapidly growing facilities maintenance provider. Our client has won numerous maintenance contracts in recent years including major commercial banking corporations, leading insurance brokers, more recently they have won the maintenance contract for a major retailer. We are now looking to recruit a number of M&E Engineers for a business that currently has turnover of over £10million.

Your core responsibilities will be to perform fault-finding and servicing duties to HVAC plant that will include ventilation plant, general power and lighting maintenance and also some heating plant.

Typical responsibilities include;

Maintenance and repairs to all electrical equipment (i.e. lighting and power)

Maintenance to A/C plant such as air handling units, split A/C units

Maintenance to catering machinery

Testing of emergency lighting/fire alarms/sprinkler systems

PAT testing

We are looking for an engineer to cover four locally-based properties. We are currently recruiting for a HVAC engineer to cover the local properties in the Crwaley area.

All applicants must hold valid electrical or mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds. In addition, all applicants must possess a valid driver`s license.

The package on offer will include;

1.£27,000 to £30,000

2.25 days holiday

A great opportunity has arisen to join a leading HVAC maintenance company as they are expanding their current operations on a prominent commercial maintenance contact. Originally starting out as an energy management firm in 1966 and later moved into the HVAC maintenance field. Our client has won numerous maintenance contracts in recent years including one of the world`s largest telecommunications firms, a national rail contract and several major retail organisations in addition to more conventional commercial buildings. Their strength within the market place is highlighted by the fact that they have seen staffing level grown significantly and at present service 18,500 commercial properties with expectations for these figures to grow in the near future.

Your core responsibilities will be to work on a reactive basis, performing fault-finding and servicing duties to HVAC plant that will include ventilation plant, general power and lighting maintenance and also some heating plant. It is imperative that applicants have experience of working within a maintenance background and a developed understanding of pumps, valves, motors, single and three-phase power, air handling units/fan coil units (including associated controls/sensors), emergency lighting/fire alarms/sprinkler testing, using BMS for detecting faults and changing set points etc.

As part of the South East England team, you will be covering local commercial properties in an area that includes Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Wiltshire, Hampshire, West Sussex, Kent, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and East Sussex. It is important to note that you will not be responsible for all of the areas listed above but only those that are reasonable for you to cover.

I`m currently working on behalf of a large maintenance provider client of mine and I`m in the process of saucing 5 Hospital Engineers to work in South East London. They are looking for Mechanical and Electrical engineers with Health Care experience including steam plant as well as a good understanding of general Building Services including, Power lighting and distribution as well as HVAC systems and Mechanical plant.

The role comes with a basic wage of around 28-30K and is a 4 on 4 off days and nights, there will also be some call out and overtime when and if needed. City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent are a must and a good technical background is also desired.

This will involve the recruitment of three experienced Chiller engineers looking at the planned maintenance for the new specialist Air Conditioning division for a diverse and expanding section of an already well-established portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate must have previous hands on experience of carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance to large commercial and industrial chillers from all manufacturers, including compressor repairs to reciprocating, screw and rotary types and mechanical strip-down. This role involves the preventative maintenance and service to Chillers on a mobile basis. This role will be a static position involving the maintenance of power and lighting systems and a large amount of first line maintenance to split and multi split A/C systems.
