Temporary Web Editor XML - 1 month Contract - £65-70 p/day

Your Profile

As a temporary web editor you will have a minimum of a years experience working within an editorial capacity and will be fluent editing using XML. You will have copy-editing experience, and will be comfortable working with large volumes of plain text. You will have excellent editing and proofreading skills. Data Model or Schema experience is desirable, but not essential.

The Role

As a temporary web editor you will be working on-screen adding XML tags to existing and then proofreading and adding new XML tags to additional content for the dataset. You will be working with complex data model, accurately analysing and identifying content that needs tagging. You will also be proofreading technical legal copy.

Primarily responsible for providing PA support to the RVP, this is a busy and challenging role requiring drive, initiative, professionalism and first rate secretarial skills. In addition, there will be project duties to support the business, and a requirement to provide ad hoc support to members of the AIG Travel Assist Senior Management Team.

Providing PA support to the RVP, involving:

- extensive diary management
- co-ordinating meetings (including booking rooms, greeting guests, arranging sandwich lunches or restaurant bookings)

- opening post, managing e-mails and where necessary replying to correspondence

Project management duties may include:

Knowledge and Skills Required:

Previous project management and secretarial experience preferred, shorthand helpful but not essential. Previous experience of working within an FSA regulated business desirable.
We are urgently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer with experience in using Oracle. The assignment is temporary for three to six months and will involve processing invoices, matching and coding, reconciling supplier statement, payments runs and liaising with suppliers to resolve outstanding queries.





It is absolutely essential that you have worked in an accounts payable role recently, as there will be little training provided. Our client has also requested that the successful applicant has used Oracle in a recent role and have instructed us to inform candidates without this system, they will be unsuccessful.
