Objectives:Directly manages, supervises and instructs Electrical Design Standards on a project. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for quality standards for the entire project and for assisting the Site Engineer in establishing electrical and grounding standards. Scope of responsibilities will range from training the Subcontractors and Supervisors to checking material and designs according to Ukrainian standards and Huawei specifications. A more specific Scope of Work is defined below.Scope of Work: 1. Evaluates Subcontractors according to the fixed Scope of Work and project goals.2. Complies with the electrical design processes and the defined time schedule.3. Responsible for all electrical and grounding aspects of the Permit Drawings, Construction Drawings, all drawing review and approval procedures, acceptance of deliverable products and interaction with all departments.4. Responsible to manage the process of energizing the site on schedule and according to National regulations. 5. Strong understanding of subcontractor’s contractual obligations and Scope of Work.6. Works closely with Site Engineer and Design Engineer to establish project designs and requirements.7. Works closely with the Site Acquisition Manager to establish permit drawing requirements as set forth by the local permitting agencies.8. Trains the subcontractors to Huawei process and standards.9. Supervision of the design team either in-house or subcontracted. 10. Advance planning with all departments to best initiate drawing processes.11. Discusses and resolves design related issues with customer and subcontractors.12. Evaluation of costs of electrical and grounding designs.13. Checks and signs off As-built drawings.14. Responsible for quality assurance of electrical and grounding design and works.Qualification Profile:• Two (2) years experience in telecom design work. MOBILE M&E ENGINEERS IN YOUR LOCAL AREA
A great opportunity has arisen to join a leading HVAC maintenance company as they are expanding their current operations on a prominent commercial maintenance contact. Originally starting out as an energy management firm in 1966 and later moved into the HVAC maintenance field. Our client has won numerous maintenance contracts in recent years including one of the world`s largest telecommunications firms, a national rail contract and several major retail organisations in addition to more conventional commercial buildings. Their strength within the market place is highlighted by the fact that they have seen staffing level grown significantly and at present service 18,500 commercial properties with expectations for these figures to grow in the near future.
Your core responsibilities will be to work on a reactive basis, performing fault-finding and servicing duties to HVAC plant that will include ventilation plant, general power and lighting maintenance and also some heating plant. It is imperative that applicants have experience of working within a maintenance background and a developed understanding of pumps, valves, motors, single and three-phase power, air handling units/fan coil units (including associated controls/sensors), emergency lighting/fire alarms/sprinkler testing, using BMS for detecting faults and changing set points etc.
As part of the London team, you will be covering local commercial properties in an area that includes Central London, Essex, Middlesex and Hertfordshire. It is important to note that you will not be responsible for all of the areas listed above but only those that are reasonable for you to cover.
All applicants must hold valid electrical or mechanical qualifications such as City & Guilds. In addition, all applicants must possess a valid driver`s license.
