Are you a mobile multi skilled building services technician living in the North West looking for a stable position within this period of financial uncertainty? Working on a newly won contract for a leading Blue Chip retail chain with more than 550 nationwide stores, then look no further.

We are looking for up to 25 fully qualified electrically or mechanically biased engineers with at least 3 to 5 years building services hands on experience and City & Guilds qualifications in their respected trade. Each successful candidate will be based in their location (county) and will be responsible for 15 stores in this proximity and therefore will not be expected to cover excessive travel. The main duties will be to cover the planned and reactive maintenance to Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC systems and first line monitoring and maintenance to refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

The role

The agency is looking for an Account Director with experience of handling significant UK and

Your profile

A life science degree or equivalent medical or nursing qualification is required together with a
track record in healthcare advertising and communications. Any of the additional types of
experience or qualification is desirable but not essential:

Electrical Machines Designer - Pro/Engineer - Wildfire - Electric Motor/Generator

My Client are a leading engineering firm who design high performance electric motors and are a global pioneer of some of the most advanced generators require a Senior Electrical Machines Designer, with an excellent knowledge on Pro/Engineer (Wildfire), Pro/Intralink with a must have experience in Part modelling, Large assemblies, Design for manufactures, Drawing to BS/ISO standard, ANSYS, Structural FEA, Electromagnetic, and Rotor Dynamics. You will be working on multi-national large scale projects as this company thrive on securing new business contracts.

As the Electrical Machines Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing for a range of High performance Magnet electric motors, and generators predominantly high-speed industrial machines, these can range from 6,000rpm - to 160,000rpm and up to 1MW in size with a view to go to 10MW in the near future. Ideal candidate you will come from an engineering background, and have excellent skills in Drawing to BS/ISO, also product engineering skills.

You will be expected to participate in all the relevant aspects of Design including Manufacture, QA, and test for prototype development & production.

Main duties and function will include :

- Selection of fundamental machine parameters such as Machine type, Materials, pole count, phase count, slot geometry, sectional dimensions, active length, flux densities etc.

- Carry out various machine parameter analysis including : reactance, inductance, voltage, current, waveform, electrical losses, efficiency fault tolerance etc.

- Participate in selection and design of power electronics and electrical systems to be used in combination with electrical machine products.

- Also you will be participate in the definition and production of electrical test plans to validate key machine design characteristics, Validation and functional tests , both on and off-site, both static and dynamic tests and participate in the production of Quality documentation associated with Electrical Machines, as and when required.

For your application to be considered you will have excellent knowledge in :

Engineering Degree

Pro Engineer (Wildfire 2 or higher)

Pro/Intralink (release 3 or higher)

3 + Years experience in part modelling, large assembles, design for manufacture, ANSYS, structural FEA and Thermal FEA
