The Role

As Classified Advertising Manager, you will manage a classified sales team of 6 executives across a variety of sectors such as health & beauty, mobile, travel, homes & finance and technology. You will drive classified revenues, setting key performance indicators and incentives, while offering support and training for the team. You will report directly into the group advertising manager and director of sales and act as an ambassador for the brands.

Your Profile

You must come from a classified sales background at team leader or advertising manager level. You will ideally have experience of national press or consumer magazines experience and will show a passion for newspapers and printed media. You will be a large, enthusiastic personality with strong leadership and motivational ability.

This will involve the recruitment of three experienced Chiller engineers looking at the planned maintenance for the new specialist Air Conditioning division for a diverse and expanding section of an already well-established portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate must have previous hands on experience of carrying out the planned and reactive maintenance to large commercial and industrial chillers from all manufacturers, including compressor repairs to reciprocating, screw and rotary types and mechanical strip-down. Engineers must also have an extensive working knowledge of the full spectrum of systems concentrating on the chiller, larger end of the market, there will also be involvement in some small end of the market.

This role involves the preventative maintenance and service to Chillers on a mobile basis. This is the way of the future where large maintenance service providers will no longer outsource the Chiller maintenance but have their own teams. This view has also extended to the service of Burners and boilers and this company are also setting up a team to deal with this section.

This role offers excellent scope for career development as this very well established company are looking to expand on this company division.

Your Profile

As an experienced exhibitions sales person, you will have at least 2-3 year exhibitions sales experience and a minimum of 5 years experience in a sales environment. With structured approach and a diplomatic manner, you will be used to dealing with private and public sector clients within a niche market place. You will need lots of personality and be used to face-to-face conceptual selling. Experience of running an exhibition from conception to completion is essential.

The Role

Selling on a very well-established exhibition within the market, you will be responsible for developing new and existing clients with a consultative sales approach. Lia sing closely with internal sales (exhibitions and media) teams, marketing team and operations team, you will need to ensure delivery and client care is top of your priority list in order to secure the business in the long term. Developing strong relationships with your clients is of utmost importance in this role and maintaining it`s profile within it`s industry.
