My Client is responsible for some 1600 dwellings in Manchester. Every dwelling includes a Hydraulic Interface Board with a metering and prepayment system.

Our contract requires that on an annual basis each unit must be attended, checked for accuracy, verified and read.

Any unit found to be operating outside the specified levels must be rectified where possible or replaced.

The planned renewal of plant requires that a minimum of 5% of units be replaced each year.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of how heat meters measure energy consumption


Functions

?Attend tenants dwellings and undertake all duties as specified in Overview
?Attend, diagnose and repair faults to metering systems having due regard to customer care in this specific environment
?Be technically aware and sufficiently numerate to interrogate meters and report thereon
?Enter meter readings and details to central database, being responsible for the integrity of the data
?Carry out meter calibration checks
?Complete the relevant paperwork and report diligently
?Any other relevant duties that may be required


General

?Maintain all documentation and records to the highest standard
?Ensure jobs are closed down promptly
?Have an understanding of the relevant individual contracts and charging structures
?Liaise with customers and engineers in a polite and efficient manner, escalating where necessary
?Establish and maintain productive working relationships with clients and tenants
?Provide reports to, and work closely with, Contracts Manager and Energy Services Manager.

Your Profile



The ideal Business Development Manager will speak German or Dutch to a native standard. You will have worked within the Financial Services sector and will have solid B2B sales experience selling to major industrial companies, pitching to Senior level. The Business Development Manager will have New Business and Account Management experience and will be consultative in your sales approach and have a strong understanding of the commodity markets and foreign exchanges. The successful Business Development Manager You will understand the way in which markets work especially spots and forwards and a good knowledge of Financial B2B sales.



The Role



The Business Development Manager will develop European market intelligence across the energy sector and drive sales via direct and indirect channels of the business. You will generate sales revenue from existing large corporate accounts. You will confidently develop relationships with senior company decision makers at blue-chip companies and examine how you can provide the best solution, over your competitors.
