BlackBook Media Corp is seeking an ambitious individual for the position of PHP/Web Application Developer. BlackBook Media is the insiders’ guide to style and culture. We deliver our fashion and entertainment guides through mobile applications, BBook.com, pocket-sized city guide books & a visually-arresting monthly magazine. The BlackBook Guides for is the premiere insider source for the lowdown on the shining culinary stars, dimly lit dive bars, and everything in between in 26 fashionable cities around the world and growing. We`re a small team that tackles projects with the zeal and ability of a much larger department. Though technical experience is important, flexibility, willingness to dig into concepts and languages that you may not yet know, and a general passion for getting your hands dirty in the latest tech are significant qualifications. If you`re as obsessed with the newest restaurant opening, the must-have iPhone app, and the minutia of New York media gossip as we are, even better. Responsibilities: * PHP development in a LAMP environment that includes the ability to use XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and AJAX.* MySQL database management and development.* Use of subversion technologies in a group development environment.* Use of MVC PHP application frameworks.* Data analysis and math-based project leadership.* Light server administration at times. Requirements: * Knowledge developing PHP applications in a Linux/Apache/MySQL evironment.* Strong understanding of Object-Oriented features of PHP.* Knowledge of databases and SQL.* Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems.* Excellent communication skills.* Excellent math skills.* Understanding of popular JavaScript frameworks.* Experience with Subversion or another version control system - a plus.* Linux system administration experience - a plus.* Knowledge of the Propel ORM PHP framework – a plus.* Knowledge of the Symphony PHP framework – a plus.* Knowledge of the Codeigniter PHP framework – a plus. The ability to solve interesting math problems using the latest web technologies is a major plus for this position.

The Role
The Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Director in the running and managing of accounts. You will be expected to:
Manage the output of Account Executives ? supporting their development
Be an informed point of contact for the client, internal clients and other
team members on the status and performance of campaigns.
Ensure the timely and accurate implementation of campaigns and tracking.
Identify opportunities for campaign optimisation and action changes
Deliver timely, insightful reporting of campaign performance
Plan and buy campaigns, ensuring that we deliver best in class
