PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE SUMMARY BEFORE RESPONDING. FIELD MARKETING REPRESENTATIVE Job SummaryEducate bar owners, managers and bartenders on national liquor brand. Merchandises the brand at on and off-premise accounts in order to achieve distribution goals and develop accounts. Uses point-of-sale (POS) materials and shelf/display placement to position brands. Provides continual customer service and support to accounts. May specialize in on-premise accounts with some responsibility for off-premise accounts.Will be responsible to execute events in local markets several nights per week.Upon hire, must obtain complete TIPS Certification. Must be able to pass pre-hire drug screen, credit check, driving record review, and criminal background check. Essential FunctionsSales Dutieso Participates in customer and distribution sales presentations, follows up with customerso Describes product; provides product samples when appropriateo Achieves monthly program goals o Secures advantageous brand positioning and POS/display spaceo Identifies and adapts to competitive sales trendso Entertain clients and potential clientso Manage local T&E budgetMarketing Dutieso Will execute 90 sampling nights in bars in your local market between April 1 and December 1• Responsible for on-site management of event and promotional modelso Assist National Program Director in identifying local fashion events or retailers to partner with in each marketo Assist National Program Director in executing 2 large scale events in your market o Assist National Program Director in executing 2 bar staff education dinnerso Execute advertising merchandising and PR events, when neededCustomer Service Dutieso Develop and maintain relationships with customers by visiting accounts, attending social and promotional events, and staying up to date on account/market/competitive conditionso Facilitate completion of order requests with brand sales team and/or distributoro Set up POS materials in on- and off-premise accountsAdministrative Dutieso Track account visits, featured products, merchandising, and POS/display informationo Book, track and report all sampling activitieso Manage storage unit and inventory in unito Order POS inventory through home office when necessaryTraining Dutieso Train account staff on product knowledge and product tasting in order to increase sales (when applicable)o Train promotional models on product knowledge and protocol for sampling and marketing events Qualificationso Bachelor`s degree from a four-year university (or equivalent experience) and at least 1 year of previous sales experience, preferably in the adult beverage industryo Must be “in the know” in regards to nightlife (including bars and clubs) in your local marketo Must be outgoing and personableo Must be willing to work non-traditional hours including nights and weekendso Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programso At least 21 years of ageo Valid Driver`s License o Reliable vehicle (you will be reimbursed for use of your own vehicle)o Must be able to physically lift 20 lbsSend resume with salary requirements and a headshot or recent photo to jobs@mirrorball.com.
