Well funded (with clients) startup Risk Measurement company seeking to hire a fulltime or contract C# 2008 and SQL Server 2005 or higher developer. Seeking a bright, original, innovative problem solver and not a textbook code writer. Chance to work with an exceptionally bright team of engineers from MIT and IIT and astrophysicist from NASA. The position involves working remotely and meeting in midtown 1-2 days a week. Amazing flexibility available in work hours. Sponsorship will be considered for an exceptional candidate. The project is highly mathematical so you must have affinity for numbers. If interested, please send resume and a sample of your most creative original code that you wrote in an actual real world project for consideration. Salary is open. No recruiters please.Please follow these guidelines when sending sample code:1. Must be real world project and not academic or test answer. 2. Must be core logic. No helper code like property get/set, simple db calls, abstract classes/interface.3. Must demonstrate creativity, originality, and problem solving ability.4. Use of newer features preferred.5. No garden variety like a collection of select/insert/update statements.6. Use of complex classes/functions preferred.7. Use of mathematical/statistical functions preferred8.
