Multi Skilled Engineer

A Fantastic opportunity on a newly won Blue Chip contract in West London with a large and very successful HVAC building services company.

They are seeking a multi skilled building services engineer with hands on air conditioning maintenance experience to be based on a static site in North West London/Middlesex. The candidate would ideally have either completed an apprenticeship or on the job training and have city and guilds qualifications in either electrical or air conditioning disciplines and to have carried out planned and reactive maintenance to electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, including: Power, lighting, AHU`S, fan coil units, split A/C units, 1st line maintenance to chillers and boilers, pumps, motors etc. Candidates must also hold Safe Handling of Refrigerants certification.

The ideal candidate would be someone who can think on their own feet, is self motivated has no problem working as part of a team or equally on there own, along with being someone who is looking for an opportunity too progress in an exciting office environment for a company who offer long term stability and good opportunities for progression.

A leading building maintenance company have a permanent vacancy for an experienced maintenance supervisor for one of their flagship contracts, based at the European headquarters for a large oil company in the Victoria area of London. Responsible for the day to day running of a team of 3 technicians the candidates should have previous supervisory experience and a proven track record of hands on experience of HVAC maintenance. The site is run to very high health and safety standards so knowledge of regulations, permits and certification are a must.

The role is a hands on position and candidates can be either electrically or mechanically biased but must be multi skilled and to have covered the planned and reactive maintenance to: single and three phase power, lighting, AHUâ??s, pumps, motors, fan coil units, chillers, boilers etc. There will also a lot of interaction with the client and sub contractors so good communication and relationship building skills are essential.
