Imperial Surgical Supply is a leading medical supply company with a retail location based in Great Neck, New York. We were founded in 1949 and have remained in the same location for over 60 years. Imperial Surgical is family owned and in our second generation. In our retail store we sell and rent items such as wheelchairs, walkers and hospital beds. We also have many other types of medical supplies including; compression stockings, medical braces and other aids to daily living that assist the sick and elderly communities. We are looking for a motivated person to manage and grow our retail business. Qualified candidates will have superior interpersonal and people management skills and be comfortable working with an elderly customer base. The candidate will be trained how to fit and measure patients for proper sizing of medical supplies. Minimum Qualifications Include: * 2 years of retail experience. This experience does not have to be in the medical field, however it is preferred. * A Bachelors or Associates Degree * Experience in sales, inventory management, and business development. Imperial Surgical Supply is looking for an additional team member who has terrific customer service skills both in-person and on the phone with patients; takes direction well; can function well in a very fast paced environment; works independently; has good common sense and great initiative. We are looking to grow our business and need the right candidate to help us. Are you a lively, out - going, energetic individual who has the confidence to act as a cover supervisor within a variety of lessons?! In order to be successful within this type of role, you will need to have exceptional behaviour management skills and have the ability to control a class of students whilst assisting them with the work that has been set.
Good communication is essential as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to as good standard/level as possible.
