We`ve got somethings brewing at Update Graphics, and we want to know who your are. Like the title says, we are looking for top notch Presentation Designers, but that`s not all.Who is Update Graphics? In short, we are a boutique placement agency, specializing in placing creative professionals; from presentation artists & designers, designers and production artists (print and web) art directors, creative directors, writers, IA`s and developers and more. Check out our site at www.updategraphics.com Presentation people!!!!! First up, we`ve got a FULLTIME, perm position with a great PR agency in the city. This search is special, because you`ve got to come from a design background and have phenomenal design ability to create something hip, trendy and clean. Traditional and digital illustration skills are a gigantic plus. The portfolio that our client is looking for include presentations, invites, newsletters and brochures... all very high end. You must be able to incorporate audio, video, charts and graphs into presentations. If your portfolio is not diverse, this client will not look at it. (We`re just shooting straight with you). Our client`s work ranges from healthcare to general mass market consumer. This is a more senior role, and can pay in the $70k range. Next on the Update plate is a freelance project. This client tests candidates (1 at home test and possibly another onsite). The first test is unpaid, and the second is paid. They do all of their work on PPT on PC, and incorporate audio and video. Mostly corporate graphics with some charts and graphs. This offering is not for an immediate need, but a pool building effort. Senior Account Manager - Creative Solutions - Newspaper Portfolio - £40k

The Company

With hundreds of regional and national newspapers and a vast portfolio of news-based websites, this newspaper group has a strong market presence and a growing multimedia strategy. Boasting a huge nationwide readership, the titles are award-winning, editorial-led products with complimenting magazines and websites.

The Role

As Senior Account Manager within the creative solutions division of this newspaper group, you will be expected to proactively generate multi-platform advertising revenue, working closely with media agencies and clients direct. This revenue may come in the form of advertorials, sponsorships, competitions, cross-platform integrated advertising campaigns and long-term strategic partnerships. You will identify creative ways of developing online revenue through the use of mobile and micro site while integrating them into printed campaigns.

Your Profile

Creative media sales experience is essential, ideally within a magazine or national press environment. Your understanding of digital and mobile as part of motel-platform advertising channels is essential. You will have strong West End media agency contacts and have experience of influencing at planning stage, rather than occupying a trading role. You will have demonstrable experience of taking creative ideas to agencies as well as responding to briefs and be comfortable presenting long-term strategic proposals to senior client decision makers.

The Role
Due to the centralisation of their Finance function, they are looking to recruit an European VAT Specialist to join their busy growing team.Reporting to the European Tax Manager, the VAT Specialist will take responsibility for all VAT issues across the European Entities. The role will also be responsible for assisting and training staff in VAT in various locations globally.

The Person
Ideally you will be AITI qualified or at finalist stage and can demonstrate your VAT knowledge and experience. You will be coming from either a Shared Service Centre, Big 4 or a dedicated VAT role within Manufacturing
