The Printed Blog is looking for photographers, bloggers, and graphic designers to submit content for our printed publication.First off, if you don`t know what The Printed Blog is, find out here: www.theprintedblog.com. Be sure to check out our online issues to see what our publication is all about.We`re looking for interesting and unique talent to place in our weekly issues, most notably the cover. The Printed Blog is a very new company returning your help by driving users to your site, but don`t worry, we`re working on the funds that will allow us to pay you in the future. In the mean time, come grow with us and create buzz about your work. The Printed Blog reaches 3,000 people a week currently (but will be growing in the weeks to come), and that`s just in the printed form. My client a large insurance/reinsurance firm is looking for an IBA Account Handler on a 3-6 month maternity contract. You will have extensive experience of dealing with corporate insurance clients on a daily basis. Responsibilities will include:

- To render monthly/ad hoc statements on a timely basis, recording all/any exceptions
- Diarise and chase debts on a timely basis and record all debt collection activity
- To ensure prompt action is taken to refund credits, once collected from insurers, unless requested otherwise by the client.
- To liaise with Regional Office and IBA staff and to respond to customer queries.
- To resolve issues on a timely basis, logging and recording where appropriate.
- To allocate cash against technical transactions and match contra entries.
- To ensure that all statutory and company regulations are followed to protect clients, colleagues and the business interests of the company.
- To acquire and maintain an accurate level of appropriate product and regulatory knowledge and skill in accordance with the job role.

You will have proven experience from a similar insurance environment and be available to start at short notice. Candidates without a strong IBA experience need not apply.

Senior Account Manager - Creative Solutions - Newspaper Portfolio - £40k

The Company

With hundreds of regional and national newspapers and a vast portfolio of news-based websites, this newspaper group has a strong market presence and a growing multimedia strategy. Boasting a huge nationwide readership, the titles are award-winning, editorial-led products with complimenting magazines and websites.

The Role

As Senior Account Manager within the creative solutions division of this newspaper group, you will be expected to proactively generate multi-platform advertising revenue, working closely with media agencies and clients direct. This revenue may come in the form of advertorials, sponsorships, competitions, cross-platform integrated advertising campaigns and long-term strategic partnerships. You will identify creative ways of developing online revenue through the use of mobile and micro site while integrating them into printed campaigns.

Your Profile

Creative media sales experience is essential, ideally within a magazine or national press environment. Your understanding of digital and mobile as part of motel-platform advertising channels is essential. You will have strong West End media agency contacts and have experience of influencing at planning stage, rather than occupying a trading role. You will have demonstrable experience of taking creative ideas to agencies as well as responding to briefs and be comfortable presenting long-term strategic proposals to senior client decision makers.
