Mobile Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician

Mobile Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician required for a permanent post to carry out Planned and Reactive maintenance duties and associated works to ensure safe operation of equipment and systems for a large building maintenance contractor. You will be looking after a number of commercial properties in Greater London, North and West home Counties in a mobile capacity, ensuring the sites are maintained to the highest standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To carry out the maintenance and associated works in accordance with the relevant maintenance works specification, based on the information provided by the computer aided maintenance programme and any targets set.
Respond to reactive tasks and emergency breakdowns as required
Fault finding and plant adjustments.
Take part in the out of hours emergency call out rota for the division and be ?on call? for the required times.
Be responsible for the supervision of sub contractors works and the co-ordination of their attendances for the works in accordance with the contract specification and planner, with assistance from head office.
Ensure their PPM records paperwork is up to date and correctly filed on the site log book.
Be able to use proprietary computer systems to keep in line with requirements. This would include BMS systems, automatic controls, e mail, word, excel etc. for the purposes of running the contracts and building services.
Collect on going data in order to compile periodic reports for the contracts for regular submission to the clients and office. Keep all site PPM records up to date and correctly filed.
Be accountable for the safe and reliable operation of equipment and systems being maintained or Installed and the consequences of any subsequent failures.
Ensure that all work is undertaken in safe working conditions with the correct equipment, tools and any lone working or other healthy & safety procedures.
Requirements:

Full Electrical Qualifications including 16th or 17th Edition regulations.
Full and clean UK driving licence
Office maintenance experience
Strong mechanical knowledge
Available for overtime as per requirements including callout
Good communication skills

PRS are currently recruiting for a mobile mechanical and electrical engineer on behalf of a leading facilities maintenance client. As a mobile mechanical and electrical engineer, you will be expected to perform a variety of planned and maintenance checks on typical HVAC plant. Our client is quickly becoming a major facilities maintenance provider and have been winning numerous M&E maintenance contracts within the London and surrounding area. Our client has been providing M&E services to properties including multi-tenanted properties, government buildings and sporting venues.

Mobile Electrician

My client is a leading FM and Maintenance company in the UK with over 40 year experience. Due to a contract expansion my client is looking to recruit a mobile maintenance electrician based in Central London covering a portfolio of commercial properties. Paying a basic salary of £32,000 with a fully expensed company vehicle, mobile phone/PDA, 23 days holiday and an excellent pension scheme. The client is becoming a prominent figure within the facilities maintenance sector and there would be scope for progression up to a supervisory role once you are established within the business.

In the role of mobile maintenance electrician your duties will encompass most aspects of facilities maintenance including mechanical repairs and air conditioning checks. The core responsibilities will be covering PPM and reactive works to single and three-phase power, generator/UPS checks, minor installations, minor repairs to air handling units, fan coil units, pumps, motors, boilers and chillers. This role will place you in a mobile basis so applicants must be fully conversant with the above plant and also have experience of using the BMS system to respond to alarms and also room temperature complaints from the client.

Applicants must come from an electrical background with qualifications such as City & Guilds 2330/2360 Level 3 and also 16th/17th edition. International qualifications are welcome subject to being verified by UK NARIC. All applicants must hold a valid UK drivers license and have no current driving bans or any offences pending.
