Who we are


At Stemp Systems Group, we make life better for our clients by providing comprehensive systems service and support. We do this by eliminating our customers` stress, thereby allowing them to focus on other areas of their business. We happen to do this by providing the most comprehensive and proactive technical support and networking services. We are our clients only source of MIS support and essentially act in the capacity of an inside MIS department on an outsourced basis.



The company is located in Long Island City, just 5 minutes and one subway stop outside Manhattan. The firm has been in existence since 1986 and has worked with many clients for 10 to 15 years. Morris Stemp, a CPA and MBA, is president of the company.

What You Do


* Be a support liaison to various software companies on behalf of our clients

* Be actively involved in all the phases of software implementation projects including requirements definition, deployment, data migration, end user training, and on-going support

* Help solve client technical software questions and issues either remotely or at client site

* Build and maintain exceptional relationships with our clients, staff, and software partners

* Assist with the development of comprehensive end user, technical support and knowledge base documentation

* Research leading software solutions in order to constantly improve and refine our software service offering.

* Assist clients with selection, evaluation, and implementation project management related to any client software requirements.

* Install and support many different programs at client sites

* Help support internal programs

* Become the in-house expert on many programs used by our clients

* Prepare and carry out trainings for end-users and internal help desk

* Assist other customer support engineers with client related software issues




Who You Are


You are a motivated, dedicated, energetic, creative, innovative, proactive person who:

* Has at least 2 years in a system administrator or technical support type role

* Bachelor?¦s degree in Computer Science / Management Information Systems or related fields.

* Excellent knowledge of current and developing software and web technologies and packages. Some knowledge of software tailored for the medical industry will be valued, but is not required.*

* Has knowledge of LAN environments

* Has strong problem solving and diagnostic skills

* Has exceptional phone etiquette and listening skills

* Has excellent client communication and customer service skills.

* Can handle and prioritize multiple tasks

* Pays close attention to detail

* Has outstanding organizational skills and follows tasks through to completion

* Likes taking care of people!
