Shecky’s is a leading lifestyle marketing and media company that produces content for women and their girlfriend groups that crave what’s cool and undiscovered in fashion, beauty, and fun. As part of its continuing evolution as a female marketing leader, Shecky’s is looking for a superstar PR & Marketing intern to assist with the day to day of growing our business. We are looking for someone to start IMMEDIATELY and dedicate a minimum of 20 hrs a week to the position. Please note this is NOT a summer internship.Candidates will work directly under mid to senior level managers and must be energetic, professional, organized, multi-taskers and excited to learn more about our growing company. We are looking to mold and mentor super-star interns into possible full-time employees that can grow within the company. Marketing & PR Intern Responsibilities include:• Research media and online content partners across all Shecky’s markets• Assist with invite mailings and donations• Basic admin duties/answering phones/daily organization/scheduling• Assemble invite lists for regional VIPs • Work with Cision (Bacon’s) Media Source to compile, update and maintain Shecky’s extensive Media/ Press Lists for over 16 cities nationwide• Monitor media for coverage of all things Shecky’s-related and maintain in-house clip book • Brainstorm and proactively research new pitch angles and media outlets• Work press check-in table at NYC eventsRequired Qualifications • 1+ year of experience preferably at a media, event or marketing agency. • Has a network of contacts within the field • Knows how to build and cultivate relationships with strategic customers• Female marketing experience is a plus.• Strong writing and presentation skills are necessary as is the ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic office environment• Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications including Microsoft Office, Excel, PPT• Energy, excitement, and teamworkIf you meet the qualifications above, please send a cover letter “explaining why you are a great fit for the role” plus a resume in the body of the email to Natalia Salazar at internships@sheckys.com. Senior Field Sales Executive £30,000 + £15,000 OTE uncapped + laptop, blackberry + benefits.
This unique role offers the opportunity for an experienced advertising sales executive to sell across a leading consumer title servicing a portfolio of luxury goods clients based around the West London area.
Selling targeted, result-driven advertising and marketing solutions to SME`s you will be required to manage and develop existing clients as well as win new business. Using your consultative sales skills you will work directly with clients, tailoring packages to meet each businesses individual needs.
With a proven track record in advertising field sales the ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and a polished commercially focused attitude.
In return you will receive up to a basic salary of £30000 plus uncapped commission (approximately £15000 in your first year), 25 days holiday and the opportunity to work in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
