Well recognized, industry leader has immediate need for a qualified purchasing professional. Key responsibilities will be to expand and build on “Best Practices” procurement methods.
Key responsibilities include:
* Sourcing new suppliers
* Negotiate price & terms
* Purchase raw materials, services & MRO
* Lead, develop and manage overall purchasing, inventory and logistics functions.
Qualifications should include:
* 4 year degree (preferred)
* Related experience in purchasing management role
* Experience with sourcing & purchasing raw materials for metals manufacturing.
* Must possess excellent communication skills along with being self directed and motivated.
* Desire to make continuous improvements.
