Your profile
As a Graduate IT Software Sales Executive you will have 1 year minimum of B2B sales experience, you will be tough and resilient (used to regular knock-backs), you will have worked in a disciplined sales environment and will be used to working under extreme pressure & to tight deadlines. To be a successful Graduate IT Software Sales Executive you will be confident and articulate with outstanding communication skills able to converse at all levels, you will be consultative and will be excellent at solving problems and coming up with individual solutions for your clients. The ideal Graduate IT Software Sales Executive will work well in a team as well as individually and autonomously, you will enjoy responsibility and will always `think outside of the box` to come up with new innovative ideas on how you can develop business relationships to help grow the organisation.
The role
You will be responsible for building business relationships with new clients, you will do this by contacting existing leads, recommendations, referrals, networking and generating your own leads via your own methods. In addition to speaking with clients over the phone you will also book appointments to visit clients on a face-to-face basis, this will involve travelling to Europe on a regular basis. You will be trained on a 1-2-1 basis with the VP of the organisation, you will receive a combination of `classroom` training as well as `on the job` training, you will be trained to become a specialist in the field. You must be well presented, a quick learner, intelligent and hungry to succeed as these are all the qualities needed to be successful in this role.
