The announcement text: RESPONSIBILITIES:Working closely with internal clients on procurement of manufactured components and printed materials; sourcing vendors, obtaining competitive quotes, negotiating terms, and maintaining vendor relationships; issuing purchase orders and ensuring correct and timely delivery against them; ensuring optimum inventory levels; actively contributing to improvement of quality and reduction of costs; approving vendor invoices against purchase orders; and providing overall reporting and analysis on purchasing activities to assist senior management in strategic planning.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:- At least 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing/wholesale environment, preferably within a small to medium-size company- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Excellent communication skills with vendors, management and coworkers- Ability to multi-task and adjust to changing priorities and short deadlines- Strong computer skills, especially Excel- High energy, proactive, strong negotiator, self-motivated and a team playerTo apply send resume and cover letter to purchasing2009@gmail.com. **Your application must also include your salary history and expectations.
