The Role:
Overall the Product Developer is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining and testing product source code, product builds and installers. The Product Developer will have the following key tasks:
- Design and Development of new product modules for integration with the client`s suite.
- Performing product implementation and integration as required by the client`s customer and marketing demands.
- Suggesting products enhancements/new product ideas.
- Assisting Sales staff in a technical capacity in (potential) customer meetings.
- Testing and debugging existing and newly developed code.
Candidate Profile:
The product Developer will require programming experience along with first rate communication skills. It is essential you have a strong educational background with a good first class or 2.1 degree in a numerate/analytical degree subject. The following technical skills are advantageous:
- C/C++ programming (Visual C++, MFC, SUN Pro C, GCC etc.)
- Internet programming (NSAPI/ISAPI/CGI, Javascript, JAVA, HTTP, SMTP, POP3)
JAVA
- Cross platform (NT, 95,98,2000, UNIX - AIX, Solaris, HPUX)
- Experience of ODBC, SQL, Notes, Exchange
- Client/Server Communications application development
- Scripting (PERL, SHELL)

The Company
Privately owned pharmaceutical Company is looking for a strong credit controller who can deal with a portfolio of approx. 20 million euro. This company supplies to all the Hospitals and Health Boards in Ireland.
The Role
The successful candidate should have excellent analytical and communication skills, be proactive and proficient in excel. The person should be familiar with allocations and reconciling accounts. The person should have initiative and be able to prioritize their workload.
Responsibilities
Responsible for 1,200 accounts and 24 million euro per month ledger.
Maximized cash collection of all retail customers to credit terms.
Minimised out of terms performance.
Managed the Direct Debit portfolio
Open Item Management of all retail accounts.
Timely GMS invoicing.
Produced a Monthly aging analysis for all accounts under responsibility.
Monthly letter generation of all reminder and direct debit letters keeping records of letters on file.
Completed and updated monthly journal analysis.
Management of the Cash book: to include
1. Daily cash lodgments
2. Daily cash reporting to Finance
3. Daily cash postings.
Responsible for daily cash reconciliation and open item account reconciliation.
Worked closely with Operations and Sales to resolve account queries
