Bluefly, Inc. has a position available for a Director of Online Marketing within the marketing team. This is a terrific opportunity to work in an exciting Internet environment. Bluefly, is a leading online retailer of designer brands, fashion trends, and superior value.
The candidate for the Director of Online Marketing position must be ROI focused and highly skilled in direct marketing, primarily via online channels including search marketing, email, affiliate, CSEs, banners and social media networks. The ideal candidate will have had primary responsibility for more than one of these marketing programs, with demonstrated expertise in email and search marketing techniques.
Primary Responsibilities
• Build sales targets by online channel and manage marketing programs to deliver results on budget
• Develop strategies for delivering sales and customer targets for search marketing (SEO and SEM), email marketing, affiliate network, CSEs, banners and social media, widgets, etc.
• Analyze and optimize campaign performance by channel continuing to maximize growth while maintaining an efficient Ad to Sales ratio
• Manage Customer File Model to monitor in-season performance as well as to model and forecast seasonal projections
• Work closely with merchandising, online, tech, and design teams to continue to build innovative programs, features, widgets, etc.
• Identify and negotiate new brand-appropriate online marketing partnerships, especially
performance based opportunities
• Communicate key programs and results to senior management on a consistent basis
• Manage and coach online marketing team
• Act as the point person for managing marketing agencies including periodic performance review, search for new resources, and contract negotiation
Education & Experience
• 5+ years experience in directing online marketing campaigns
• Strong direct-response experience with a track record of successful online strategies that drive qualified traffic and customer acquisition
• e-Commerce, online merchandising, and retail experience preferred
Skills Required
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Must be innovative, proactive, and a team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Coremetrics, Business Objects, Offermatica, Endeca and/or other comparable tools a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
