A postdoctoral position funded by NIH is available immediately in the Division of Hematology. We have transgenic-knockout models for sickle cell disease, hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF-1 alpha) and thalassemia, and are using to study vascular biology. The particular emphasis is on the role of oxidative stress, nitric oxide and HIF-1 alpha in vascular tone modulation. The applicants must have prior experience in animal work. The work will involve physical contact with mice, intravital microscopy, small animal surgery, Western blots, ELISA and RT-PCR. The applicants should be enthusiastic and interested in basic research.The applicants must have Ph.D. or equivalent. The Company:
Our client is a fast growing global company and due to rapid expansion in Europe they are currently looking to recruit a Dutch speaking Channel Account Manager. Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and English.
The Role:
The overall aim of the position as an account manager will be managing new and existing clients. You will be provided with a territory and source for potential customers and will be working with mostly partners and resellers. This is a phone based sales position with excellent career opportunities. The position will include the following key responsibilities.
-Managing an assigned territory via telephone to source potential customers and identify
networking requirements
-Managing the whole sales cycle from opportunity to closure
-Responsible for achieving quarterly and annual goals
-Develop excellent relationships with assigned clients
- Analyse the local market and keep yourself up o date regarding competitors
Candidate Profile:
Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and English.
Self-motivation, pro-activity and experience as a professional Account Manager with a proven ability to deliver to targets would be highly beneficial. This position is suitable for a successful sales person that is achievement orientated and believes in performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals. Excellent IT skills are required and knowledge of CRM systems such as Siebel or SAP is highly beneficial.
