Ink, Storm Chasers, and the new show, The Rachel Zoe Project, and award-winning films such as The Squid and the Whale, Half Nelson, and A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints.Original Media is continuously expanding their slate with fresh ideas and new projects, so we are looking for motivated interns for the Summer ’09 semester.You will be pushed hard, given responsibility and held accountable. Opportunities to work on set and in the office. The more you can do, the more we can give you. Office/Production InternshipThis internship involves working on the productions of our shows and in the office. Intern duties include: running the day-to day operations in the office, aspects of post-production including screening episodes, transcribing, preparing deliverables, researching and working as a PA on shoots. 3 to 4 days/ week. Hours: 10AM to 6:30 PMPreferred Skills: Graphic Design skills, shooting on a variety of formats, preferably DV and HD DV, great phone skills. Editing: Final Cut Pro (own system)Development InternshipThis internship involves working for the TV development department creating new shows and helping prepare materials for pitches and sales tapes. Intern duties include – research, writing, shooting, editing, casting, organizing, ideating. 4 days a week. Only 2 positions available. Are you a lively, out - going, energetic individual who has the confidence to act as a cover supervisor within a variety of lessons?! In order to be successful within this type of role, you will need to have exceptional behaviour management skills and have the ability to control a class of students whilst assisting them with the work that has been set.
Good communication is essential as you will have to liaise between both students and class teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to as good standard/level as possible.
A Cover Supervisor role is an exciting opportunity to become a valued member of staff of which full support will be given.
Every candidate will need to undergo a CRB check (if no current one is available) and will need to supply 2 teaching references from with the past 5 years.
