NYC based environmental consulting firm has an immediate opening for a Project Manager with minimum 5 years experience in asbestos survey, design and abatement . Candidate must possess a NYC Asbestos Investigator, NYSDOL Inspector, Designer, Management Planner licenses. In addition, USEPPA lead inspector/risk assessor license with experience in lead inspections and lead wipe sampling. A valid driver`s license is required. B.S. in Environmental Science or closely related degree is required. Experience with NYCT and NYSCA is required.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
• Direct/coordinate Asbestos Inspections and daily work of Inspectors & Air Monitoring Technicians
• Direct/coordinate Lead Based Paint (LBP) Inspections, Risk Assessments, Clearances and daily work of LBP Inspectors
• Perform Asbestos and LBP Inspections
• Prepare Asbestos Survey/Inspection Reports
• Prepare LBP Inspection, Risk Assessment, & Clearance Reports
• Prepare Project Designs for Asbestos Abatement
• Develop Abatement Bid Plans & Specifications and solicit Subcontractor Bids
• Interface with Clients and develop cost estimates for Asbestos and LBP Services
