Motivated Network Support/IT Specialist
Growth opportunity!
Expanding IT services firm, providing IT services to small businesses and non-profit organizations, seeks experienced, motivated Network Support/IT Specialist, to serve clients in the metro New York City area, by providing IT administration and support for small and medium size LAN/WAN
Candidate must be a self-starter
Experienced in Windows server, desktop OS and Exchange
Complete configuration, installation and support of Windows servers
Responsible for routers/firewalls, security, backup systems, antivirus, disaster recovery and on-going research and implementation of new solutions and technology
Server virtualization knowledge and experience a plus
Must have good people skills as well as verbal and written communication skills,
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Be willing to work in a small, highly dynamic but relaxed environment performing a wide range of work on-site and remote.
Some travel required and off-hours work will be required from time to time.
Candidate must be willing to study for various certifications on his/her own time and demonstrate a genuine interest and motivation in the IT field
Candidate must be a self-starter
