Vendor Compliance Manager
Responsible for managing all retailer compliance initiatives, sustainability initiatives, and factory compliance initiatives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Maintain an up-to-date catalog of retailer vendor guides, including routing, shipping compliance, and product development guides.
• Maintain company ERP account master files to ensure multiple departments are operating according to retailer specific standards.
• Participate in the company global sustainability efforts.
• Participate with Finance to identify and resolve retailer violation chargebacks.
• Participate with operations and production teams to affect compliance initiatives at factory origin.
• Coordinate along with Shanghai production office, to ensure factory compliance in regards to human rights, security (C-TPAT), sustainability, and other similar initiatives
• Interacts with Production, Operations, In-Bound Logistics, all DC facilities, all sales organizations nationwide, and Senior Management.
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS NEEDED:
• Four year college degree preferred.
• High efficiency in computer skills and programs.
• Retaillink (Walmart) and partnersonline.com (Target) experience highly preferred
• Highly familiar with mass and mid-tier department stores and their shipping requirements
• Familiar with C-TPAT and other Homeland Security initiatives.
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead team meetings and interact with other departments.
• 25% travel will be necessary.
• A minimum of 5 years in a similar consumer products position preferably in the accessories, apparel or footwear industry.
