Dynamic, fast-growing, Internet-based global content licensing company seeks a professional IT Support Technician to manage all IT functions in our New York office. The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Desktop Experience:
Microsoft Windows 2000, XP, Vista experience
Microsoft Office 2000, XP, 2003, 2007 experience
Microsoft Office Outlook (Exchange Environment)
Experience with Windows File and Print sharing
Good understanding of networked printers
Good understanding of TCP/IP
Good understanding of DNS
Good understanding of phone systems (PABX)
Good understanding of Client certificates for Email encryption / web sites (SSL)
Good understanding of client VPNs (Cisco VPN, Microsoft PPTP VPN)
Server Support:
Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 server experience (Active directory)
Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 server experience
Microsoft IIS 5/6 experience + SSL
Other Desired experience:
Cisco PIX experience (Access rules, Site-to-Site VPNs)
Experience supporting ColdFusion applications
Additionally, the position requires occasional overseas phone calls with our other global offices during off-hours (evenings, early morning).
