TOA Electronics, Inc. has an immediate opening within the Product Support Group at our Tarrytown, New York branch office providing Audio, Intercom and CCTV product support to our customers. This is the entry level position within the Product Support Group. The ideal candidate should have experience with the theory, installation and operation of audio equipment including mixers, 70-volt amplifiers, speakers, digital signal processors, equalizers, and/or intercom and/or CCTV systems. System design and an electronics background would also be helpful.
Duties include telephone technical support to dealers, consultants and end users located nationwide related to the selection, operation and troubleshooting of TOA audio, intercom and CCTV products. The position also includes involvement with training, technical writing, market research, product development and tradeshows.
The candidate should be bilingual (English/Spanish) able to demonstrate clear verbal and written communications skills using MS Office and Power Point and possess the ability to explain complex concepts in simple language. The candidate should also possess typing skills of at least 30 wpm. An Associate level college degree and/or equivalent work experience is required. Travel is estimated to be 5-10% of the time.
